Warrenton Financial Advisor Named 2026 AdvisorHub Finalist

Meridian Financial Partners’ Nathan Gilbert Named a Finalist on AdvisorHub’s 2026 Advisors to Watch List; Firm Also Recognized on USA TODAY’s Best Financial Advisory Firms List

Warrenton financial advisory firm earns two national honors in 2026

WARRENTON, VA, July 23, 2026. Meridian Financial Partners, a fee-only, independent fiduciary wealth management firm based in Warrenton, Virginia, announced today that partner Nathan Gilbert has been named a finalist on AdvisorHub’s 2026 Advisors to Watch list. Gilbert ranked No. 308 in the publication’s Under $1 Billion category, one of several categories that together make up this year’s list of 1,000 honorees nationwide.

The honor arrives in a year when Meridian itself earned national recognition. In April, the firm was named to USA TODAY’s 2026 Best Financial Advisory Firms list, a ranking produced in partnership with the research firm Statista.

Being named to the Advisor Hub list is a reflection of the work our whole team puts into every client relationship, not just mine,” said Gilbert. “I think about the families and organizations I have worked with over the years, and this recognition really belongs to them, for trusting us with something as personal as their financial future.

AdvisorHub’s Advisors to Watch ranking evaluates nominees across three primary categories: scale of business, growth trajectory and professionalism. Factors considered include assets, revenue, average account size, year-over-year growth, client growth, experience, credentials, regulatory record and community involvement.

“The firms represented in this year’s Advisors to Watch ranking are not simply getting bigger,” said Tony Sirianni, AdvisorHub’s CEO and publisher, in the publication’s announcement of the 2026 list. “They are becoming more organized, specialized and durable.”

USA TODAY’s Best Financial Advisory Firms list, now in its fourth year, evaluated registered investment advisory firms nationwide. The ranking weighs assets under management growth at 70 percent and client and peer recommendations at 30 percent, based on an independent survey of more than 30,000 individuals.

We are very appreciative that two different organizations have acknowledged Meridian this year,” said Sarah Yakel, co-founder and partner at Meridian Financial Partners. “We built this firm in 2015 around a simple idea: that clients deserve clear communication and a plan built around their life. It means a great deal to us to see this industry recognition of our work.
