At Meridian Financial Partners, our mission is to bring clarity, confidence, and peace of mind to our clients’ financial lives. Our Summer Internship Program is designed to provide an immersive, hands-on experience on the client side of financial planning and investment management.

This is more than an observational internship. Interns are integrated into the Advisory and Investment teams and gain meaningful exposure to how a fiduciary wealth management firm serves clients with excellence and integrity.
What You’ll Experience

Over the course of the summer, interns receive training and practical experience in:

  • Client services and onboarding
  • Financial planning processes
  • Investment management and portfolio oversight
  • Marketing and firm operations
  • Custodial and operational workflows

You will observe client meetings, learn from advisors with diverse planning styles, and gain insight into how customized financial strategies are built and delivered.

What You’ll Do
  • Support operational functions and liaise with custodial firms
  • Update and maintain client information within internal systems
  • Enter and analyze data in financial planning and portfolio management software
  • Build personal financial statements
  • Assist in preparing retirement projections, college funding analyses, and insurance planning models
  • Monitor Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) dashboards
  • Create investment portfolio presentations and support Investment Policy Statement preparation
  • Track portfolio performance, evaluate for rebalancing opportunities, and assist with SIMPLE Plan rebalancing
  • Help maintain our paperless office system
