Dan Fortunato, CFP®
Dan Fortunato earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from James Madison University in 2011. Shortly afterwards he was hired locally at Piedmont Press and Graphics and then moved to a position at Carfax. After volunteering multiple days a week with the youth at his church, he became a full time Student Ministries Pastor at Monterey Church in California until 2020 before transferring back to Virginia to be closer to his family. He joined Meridian in 2024 after an internship with Amplified Planning.
In 2026, Dan received his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® certification. Helping people, growing relationships, and watching them succeed is a passion of his and Meridian allows him to experience that passion every day. He also sits on the board of Leadership Fauquier, a local organization that supports our local community through engaged and connected leadership.
Outside of the office, Dan enjoys traveling the world, experiencing different coffee shops, doing anything adventurous, and spending time with his wife, Hannah and his two children. It is Dan and Hannah's goal to visit all the National Parks. They are up to 32 so far!
