Breaking up is hard to do
“It’s not you, it’s me” is a cliché phrase we all often hear when discussing the end of a relationship. In this case, the phrase rings very true. My decision to leave the bank (and my only employer since college) was certainly not one that I took lightly. However, the main reason really is because of me and my desire to build something meaningful (along with Sarah) that I truly believe in.
Sarah and I were treated very well at the bank, and we enjoyed working and learning with our team. We both feel that we have learned the best practices of investment management and financial planning over our collective 30 years of experience in the industry, and we look forward to bringing our expertise to the community in a new and innovative manner.
Please know that most of our future commentary and blog posts will be more industry focused! I felt that it was important to explain part of our thought process when forming Meridian Financial Partners. We look forward to helping you clarify the path and enjoy the journey!
