Do You Own Non-Correlated Investments?
Diversification often gets reduced to a simple idea: do not put all your eggs in one basket. But the more useful version of that idea is about owning investments that respond to different forces at different times.

Right now, stocks have been strong while high-quality bonds have stayed roughly flat or dipped slightly, a pattern that often shows up when one asset class rallies and the other's role in a portfolio comes into focus. Nathan also flags the rare exception worth remembering: 2022, when stocks and bonds moved together and did not offer the balance investors expect.
